In 2009 there were 31 suspense films released. However Animation, action and comedy done quite well and the reason i feel as if there were quite succesfull is because it has a wider variety of audiences which can range from many more audiences. Where as Thrillers in 2009 were quite low in the box office this could be due to the fact that most thrillers are similar and sometimes have the same or typical storyline. Not something unexpected however recently the directors to thriller films have bucked up the ideas.
We find that thriller audiences sometimes vary depending on the sub genre of the thriller.
Not everybody llikes the same type of thriller thats why there are so many to cater for everyones tastes.
For males theres usually action violence and crime where as for females the thriller story is usually behind a romantic thrill.
