We imported our short film to sound track pro where there are various different genres of music, sounds and instrumentals. For example Jazz, Urban, Country, Drums, Electrical guitars etc.
As a group we decided on the different sounds we wanted to use for our project. We choose ones we thought went well with the film clip. We dragged each sound onto the timeline placing it at different stages of the film, sometimes over-lapping multiple sounds, cutting them short and expanding them.
Even though we added soundtracks to the short film clip we decided to also keep in some of the original sound, the 'dialogue'.
So we played around with it increasing and decreasing the level of volume. Lastly we then had to export sound track pro and import it to match cut in order to view the whole clip with all added features.
