Step Father Title Sequence

In the opening title sequence of the thriller film stepfather we are immediately drawn in to the film just by the acting and the soundtrack and the M.E.S.
We ask ourselves what is going on, we're keeping our minds wondering.

As we continue to engage in the film we notice the actor, the main character is changing identities, the shaving and the contact lenses. We question ourselves again, why?

The weird soundtrack of happy festive christmas music plus the beepind sound of the phone off the hook creates a build up of tension. The image of dead people around the house, a mother and her children and the way the actor is walking around the house as normal gives us the hint that the 'Step Father' falls under the catorgory of being a physcological thriller.
